BRICK VAULTS
Brick vaults are no more than the application of a system which is widely used in traditional construction and applied to many of the vaults of the church, with great fidelity in terms of technique and materials. It consists of the superimposition of three or more layers of tiles. On the vaults of the church, the exposed tile of the first layer follows the generatrices of the hyperboloid, with triangular pieces of green and gold Venetian glass which occupy the intermediate spaces and represent the palm fronds Gaudí wanted on the vaults.
